IT Technician

**Job Elements: -**
- 1st and 2nd line desktop support to resolve systems issues raised within the business by the management team and users
- Provide consistent and prompt IT support for internal and remote users, and keep them informed of progress until the system issues are resolved
- Provide basic server support and monitor all servers to ensure optimum performance for the business
- Carry out "Active Directory" tasks including user accounts, groups and computers
- Install, assemble and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripheral items
- Instruct staff in the use of standard business and administrative software e.g. Microsoft Office
- Undertake any IT projects as required
- IT related qualification to HND/degree level
- Strong communication verbal and written skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Possess appropriate interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with users
- Experience of supporting Microsoft Office products
- Active Directory experience
- Experience of anti-virus technologies
- Experience of back-up technologies
- Experience of Exchange 2010, Server 2008 and 2012
- Experience of installing, configuring and assembling computers, monitors and peripheral items
