**Sustainability Co-ordinator**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to support the implementation of the group’s strategic sustainability plan. You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the progress of sustainability initiatives and supporting the development of policy and sharing of best practice across the group relating to sustainability.

Key duties:

- To support the achievement of Bagnalls’ net zero aims
- To lead on waste and recycling initiatives across the group.

***.** **To be a member of the charitable committee and support delivery of national and regional charitable activities.
- To propose and help develop procedural and policy change within the business to comply with external market factors. (e.g., Modern Slavery).
- To coordinate and complete external audits for specialist sustainability accreditations and memberships.
- To use internal and external IT platforms as required to maintain our accreditations and accurate data.

**We are keen to hear from all applicants with a passion for sustainability and who possess the following skills**:

- A willingness to enhance knowledge and understanding of sustainability within the business by undertaking a relevant apprenticeship,
- Educated to A-level (or equivalent)
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the changes in government guidance, industry, and customer requirements and Bagnalls strategic direction.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise own workload
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferable)
- Membership of a professional body (e.g., IEMA) is welcomed.
