We are now expanding our professional services team and hiring a Modern Workplace consultant to help us shape our technical solution offering. This position will suit a driven and experienced professional, who is innovative and forward thinking, highly motivedand experienced across modern workplace and cloud infrastructure services.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Lead Technical Architect the Modern Workplace consultant is responsible for scoping and designing modern workplace solutions.

This role is client facing and will suit an individual who enjoys speaking to customers to design solutions which help modernise existing and new customers IT infrastructure. ?The role will empower the individual to ensure that Wavex stay up to date anddeliver the latest features of the M365 ecosystem.

**Responsibilities**
- Work collaboratively with the Sales team to design high level infrastructure solutions
- Engage with senior executives from our clients to define business challenges and establish technical roadmaps and solutions, developing peer-to-peer rapport and relationships
- Develop the technical aspects of the sales presentation of high-level design solutions (including pricing within the Wavex pricing framework)
- Facilitate workshops to establish client business requirements
- Write technical Statements of Work (SoWs - creating and maintaining templates as necessary), proposals and RFP responses
- Provide technical guidance for project implementations
- Work with the Project Management team to define the key technical deliverables for solutions that have been designed
- Drive and oversee the low-level design phase to ensure the solutions can be implemented by the project delivery engineering team
- Work with Project Managers and Project Delivery Engineers to ensure that the scoped projects are being delivered in line with specific standards and deadlines
- Be an escalation point for technical issues relating to the target solution design that might occur during the project
- Work with the Lead technical architect to onboard new technologies into the business
- Work with the Procurement team to advise on technical equipment requirements and pricing strategies
- Be an ambassador of Wavex. Promote and maintain the Company’s reputation at the highest level

**Professional Experience**

Must have (technical)
- Track record (hands-on) of delivering and designing cloud infrastructure projects, Microsoft 365, particularly around the security aspects
- Strong technical experience Microsoft EUC product ranges. Ideally working knowledge of Intune/Endpoint Manager (MDM, Windows autopilot)
- Hands-on experience of Windows Server, Active Directory and modern desktop management
- Experience in Microsoft collaboration and enhanced communication

Must have (commercial)
- Pre-sales experience
- Writing SoWs/estimating professional services
- Delivering compelling presentations at executive level (being able to translate technology into business terms)
- Experience of solution costing, including technology products and licensing approaches
- Working knowledge of the various M365 License tiers and associated features

- Good knowledge of networking (routers, switches and firewalls)
