Dispatch Operator

We are recruiting for a dispatch operator to join a busy team for our client based in Swadlincote. Our client is within the aerospace industry, although all training is provided those with previous experience working in the dispatch sector will have an advantage.

**Hours**

Monday to Friday
- 5am - 1pm / 1pm-9pm ROTATION SHIFTS ( £11.70 hourly rate )

Sunday to Thursday
- 10pm-6am NIGHT SHIFTS ( £12.73 hourly rate )

Voluntary overtime is also available

**Pay rate**

Initially £11.70 /£12.73 hour, shift

**Key Skills Required**
- Numeracy and literacy skills
- Versatile, capable to work under minimum supervision, quick learner
- Experience driving a forklift truck in a racking environment.
- In date Counterbalance licence.
- Computer literate (computer used on a daily basis to print labels/look for stock/prepare orders)
- Being prepared to do heavy lifting on a daily basis

**Tasks**
- Get products for orders in the stock
- Prepare orders following work instructions using the in-house ERP
- Follow special instructions on orders to match customers’ requirements
- Repacking products when required
- Sampling of products when required
- Print packing list and certificates of analysis for UK orders
- Load vehicles
- Follow hygiene rules as products are for the food industry
- Heavy lifting involved when preparing orders and repacking products

The operator will work under the supervision of the Dispatch Team Leaders.

**Salary**: £11.70-£12.75 per hour
