**Regional Intelligence Officer (Trading Standards North West)**:
Trading Standards North West are looking for highly motivated individuals to effectively deliver the core Trading Standards Regional Intelligence functions for the North West region. These are interesting, rewarding and challenging roles; you will be responsible for inputting, extracting and analysing intelligence data from a wide range of sources and lead the delivery of the core intelligence function in the North West; identifying Trading Standards issues that negatively impact on consumers throughout the area.

Trading Standards North West are looking for highly motivated individuals to effectively deliver the core Trading Standards Regional Intelligence functions for the North West region. These are interesting, rewarding and challenging roles; you will be responsible for inputting, extracting and analysing intelligence data from a wide range of sources and lead the delivery of the core intelligence function in the North West; identifying Trading Standards issues that negatively impact on consumers throughout the area.

Your main area of responsibility will require working effectively to input and extract intelligence data and deliver the effective presentation of strategic assessments, tactical assessments, and problem profiles targeting a wide range of criminality. Previous experience of having worked either as an Analyst, Researcher, Financial Intelligence Officer or in a Trading Standards capacity is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

This is a permanent position working closely with the Regional Investigation Team North West based at Frodsham; with the opportunity for travel across the North West as required to support local authorities and deliver regional intelligence functions. Part of the role will also give you the opportunity to support National Trading Standards and also represent Trading Standards North West on a national basis as required.
