**Legal Clerk (Debt Recovery Department)**

**Dorchester, Dorset**

**From £25,000 - Salary dependant on experience**

**9am-5.15pm - Monday to Friday

**Position**:

- Opening and closing of files
- Liaising with clients both over the phone and face to face
- Producing Court Bundles
- Photocopying and filing
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
- Diary management
- Taking debit/credit card payments
- Monitoring debtor instalments and chasing where necessary
- Dealing with general enquiries
- Assisting with Marketing
- Project coordination
- High volume reporting

This list is not exhaustive, there will be other duties and requirements as and when required or additional needs arise

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years experience within a similar field, such as debt recovery assistant, credit controller or legal secretary
- The ability to work under pressure
- Skills to communicate effectively and ensure that the client's best interests are always served
- Excellent typing skills
- IT literacy
