HD Employment Group are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Coil Winding Technician to join our clients team.

As a Coil Winding Technician, you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling coils which are only a few millimetres in diameter wound with wires 0.07mm diameter wire to be used in electrical and electronic devices. Your expertise in coil winding techniques, equipment operation, and quality control will ensure the production of high-quality coils that meet industry standards. This role requires precision, manual dexterity, and a strong understanding of electrical components and circuitry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform coil winding operations using manual or automated equipment, adhering to specific instructions and technical drawings.
- Select appropriate wire gauges, insulation materials, and coil forms based on project requirements.
- Wind coils according to specified patterns, layers, and turns, maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Verify the integrity of the coil windings by performing quality checks and inspections.
- Make adjustments to processes as needed to meet quality standards and production goals.
- Handle and manage various types of wire, including cutting, stripping, and terminating.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to coil winding, such as wire breakage or tangling.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, materials used, and any quality issues.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Coil Winding Technician or in a similar role within the electrical or relevant industry.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot coil winding machines and associated equipment.
- Excellent manual dexterity, eyesight and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of electrical components, circuitry, and wiring.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make adjustments on the fly.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adherence to safety protocols and practices.
