We are looking for an experienced, committed and enthusiastic full time Teaching Assistant at Eaton Primary School, commencing 3 January 2024 or sooner.

Experience of working with pupils with a Special Educational Need across the primary range is required. This position will be to support within the classroom and to work with individuals or groups of pupils who may/may not have additional needs.

**Essential**
- GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and maths
- Have previous experience of working with EYFS/ KS1 children in a school setting
- Have excellent communication skills
- Show the ability to work under the direction of the teacher, but are also able to use their own initiative to support learning
- Be flexible in their role to support the changing needs of a school
- Be an individual who is **committed to and passionate about **high quality teaching.
- Demonstrate the ability to establish a positive relationship with children, parents and staff
- Have a secure knowledge and understanding of the the primary curriculum
- Be able to remain **calm and adaptable** to the needs of different children.
- Ensure school is a **safe **environment for children, staff and others.

**Desirable**
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 teaching assistant qualification
- First aid training
