We are delighted to be working alongside a major industry brand in Bristol to appoint an Investment Analyst/Corporate Finance Analyst into their Investments team. The function is responsible for identifying, evaluating and delivering non-branded capitalinvestments and then for managing the resultant portfolio. The role will be responsible for identifying, implementing, managing and maintaining financing arrangements, developing, improving and running the corporate cash flow models and managing data and informationflows for investors, banks.

**Role**

This role will be primarily focused on equity investment and will work across the full investment cycle from origination to execution; consequently managing the portfolio companies to ensure that value is maximised and that ESG targets are met or exceeded.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

- Source opportunities for investment which align to strategic ambitions for growth, sustainability and social impact
- Undertake detailed analysis of investment opportunities including initial appraisal, internal due diligence, financial modelling and writing investment papers for investment committee
- Research macroeconomic conditions and sector / industry markets
- Perform due diligence, including the critical analysis of financial data on a company’s profitability, solvency, projections, and liquidity, and the financial modelling of investment case projections
- Prepare investment reports and make recommendations on deal structure / financial
- Liaise and network with intermediaries including accountants, lawyers, brokers and corporate finance advisors to generate and manage deal flow

**About You**

Likely ACA qualified with experience in corporate finance/transaction services, you will have a proven track record contributing to the execution of transactions. You will have a proven ability to provide clear, concise and actionable commercial financeanalysis using multiple different datasets and be comfortable creating and adapting financial models to enable investment appraisals.
