**Your New Company**

We are a small start-up building & property developing company that specializes in small, medium & large design and build projects in the building and construction industry.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled builder who is proactive and holds a CSCS black card in the building and construction industry, with in-depth knowledge of building regulations, health & safety, and building control inspection who will be hands-on with all building works.

**Job Role**

Your new role as an experienced house/home builder will be to manage and coordinate all building works with your team of workers as set out in the plan drawings, monitor quality control inspection of workmen throughout the project cycle, and work closely with the site manager & project/design team to achieve the highest standard of quality finish and that the assigned work progresses on schedule within time and budget and a safe delivery.

To construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as walls, roofs, windows, doors, and floors
- Interpret and analyse building plans and blueprints
- Communicate effectively with team members and project/design manager
- Perform data entry tasks accurately
- Uphold high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Implement health and safety regulations on-site

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within an exciting function within the business that is going through constant development and growth. It will allow the chance to gain exposure to the wider business and build a fantastic stakeholder network.

Also, to handle multiple projects in various parts of the UK. primarily concerned with seeing that you and your team do their job skilfully and efficiently, with an eye for details to the highest standard & quality finish, and that the assigned work progresses on schedule.
- Must be multi-skilled and have a trade background and a minimum of 7-10 years’ working experience in this job role as a house builder and must be able to show competency in both construction site tickets and experience.
- Must have formal education or a minimum of diploma certificates.

**Responsibilities**
- To be hands-on, with all building work processes and stages, coordinating, and organising site building works unsupervised with the team according to the program ensuring work is done safely & correctly as per the design and the required quality.
- To oversee but not limited to all building works such as fit-outs, 1st & 2nd fix partitioning, ceiling works, brick/block works, new toilet & bathroom fit out, window installations, roof works, groundworks, drainages, pipe-works,1st & 2nd fix plumbing & electric, 1st & 2nd fix kitchen installation, painting & decoration works, etc.
- To monitor and ensure all works conform to building regulations, building control requirements/inspections, and others.
- Ordering and organizing site building materials and logistics in a good and timely manner to keep the flow of work stages to avoid any delays and lagging time.
- Meeting and hitting daily/weekly targets as per program
- Attending site meetings weekly with the project/design team and workforce.
- Submitting daily & weekly work/picture (before/after) progress for general works on site.
- Ensuring all works conform to building regulations and pass building control inspections
- Checking and making sure all works carried out are properly snagged, signed off, and handed over in a timely manner/targeted program date.

**Knowledge skills & experience**
- Construction/Building
- HND/Diploma/Degree or similar;
- Competent use of Microsoft packages e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook;
- Technical building & construction knowledge;
- Knowledge of current building regulations and other industry standards;
- Risk awareness;
- Ability to work as a team member, or on own initiative;
- Ability to communicate effectively;
- Strong numerical skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
- Having a professional approach to work and presentation skills.

**Requirements**:

- Must come from a house building/trade background.
- Minimum of at least 7 to 10 year’s experience in the construction industry.
- Must be a member of a trade/building association in the UK. (CIOB)
- Must be knowledgeable and experienced with residential & commercial projects.
- Must be hardworking with attention to detail under less supervision
- Must be up to date with building regulations and quality assurance
- To be able to read and interpret drawings correctly and have an in-depth knowledge & understanding of building & construction works (Both private, domestic & commercial)
- Own transport (car) mandatory with a clean driver’s license.
- Own building/working tools
- Eligible to work in the UK
