**Position Overview**:
Join our client College's team as a Catering Coordinator/Supervisor and play a pivotal role in empowering our students through practical work experience opportunities. This exciting and multifaceted role involves coordinating our on-site Coffee Shop, managing events, and overseeing in-house catering activities on a daily basis. **Responsibilities**:

- **Coordinating the Coffee Shop**: Manage all aspects of the Coffee Shop operation, including menu planning, ordering supplies, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide hands-on support and guidance to students working in the Coffee Shop, fostering their skills and confidence in a real-world setting.
- **Events Management**: Plan and coordinate various events hosted by the school, such as fundraisers, community gatherings, and special celebrations. From concept to execution, you will be responsible for organising logistics, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring events run smoothly and successfully.
- **In-House Catering**: Oversee daily catering activities within the school, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Work closely with kitchen staff and students to prepare and serve nutritious meals, accommodating dietary preferences and restrictions as needed. Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene throughout all catering operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in catering, events management, or hospitality industry, with a strong emphasis on food service and customer relations.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and supervise multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think creatively and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in food handling and preparation.
- A genuine passion for supporting student development and fostering a positive learning environment.
