**Overview**

**Principal Responsibilities and Duties**
- Identify gaps and areas for improvement in our health and safety practices.
- Develop and implement updated health and safety policies, procedures, and protocols in line with current regulations and best practices.
- Ensure all health and safety records and documentation are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
- Provide guidance and support to departmental managers and employees on health and safety matters.
- Compilation and maintenance of H&S Management Systems
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with health and safety standards.
- Coordinate health and safety training sessions and workshops for employees.
- Keep abreast of changes in health and safety legislation and industry standards and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation.

**About your Skills, Qualifications and Attributes**:

- Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- NEBOSH or similar certification in health and safety is required
