RG Freight Recruitment are working on behalf of a well known freight and logistics company to find an experienced **Freight Forwarder** to join the team at their **Aberdeen **offices.

This purpose of this new role is to provide integrated freight, logistics and supply chain solutions for customers in the oil and gas sector

**Responsibilities**
- End to end freight forwarding in a project capacity
- Planning, preparing and carrying out movements of out of gauge shipments as well as general project cargo
- Receiving and checking purchase order details from customer
- Arranging collections and deliveries
- Arrange packing of cargo as required
- Requesting/receiving/checking export documents from suppliers
- Consolidation of cargo for export by all transport Modes
- Booking space with carriers
- Completing export / import documentation
- Providing exceptional customer service

**The Person**
- Excellent knowledge of multi modal freight solutions in an industrial sector
- Extensive multi modal freight forwarding experience
- Experience with heavy ocean freight movements
- Good knowledge of UK customs formalities
- Fluency in French or another European language would be an advantage
- Commercially aware
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Excellent relationship building and problem solving skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
