Hours 9:00am
- 5.00pm (5 days a week over 6 on a rota basis)

**Salary**: £21,500 per annum plus bonuses (circa £25,500 pa)

Area: Lincoln, LN2 4HX and Newark NG24 4SE

**Role**

Ableworld are looking to recruit a Delivery Driver / Store Support to deliver mobility products to customers’ homes within the Lincoln and Newark areas, also support the store when required.

The role is unlike any typical delivery driver’s role, as this will require you to carry out demonstrations of power chairs, mobility scooters and other mobility equipment ordered by customers, in their homes or Care/Nursing Homes; you will be involved in installations of the equipment and products.

Occasionally you will have the support of a store staff member to assist you with deliveries and loading and unloading of any heavy items where required. Throughout your working day you will be interacting with customers, therefore excellent customer service skills is required, you will be highly organised and enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds.

Duties will include, assisting with:

- The transfer of stock between stores
- Delivering products to customers' homes and Care/Nursing homes etc
- Undertaking demonstrations and installations of mobility products
- Promoting a high level of customer service in a polite and professional way
- Completing required paperwork and forms (on a phone) for stores and Head Office
- Taking payments onsite using a card terminal or cash / cheque handling when necessary

Skills and Experience - you will:

- Be someone with a mature, responsible outlook on life who enjoys engaging with people of all ages
- Be energetic and flexible in their approach to work, as this is a varied role
- Be a confident communicator with an enthusiastic and positive manner
- Have excellent customer service, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Be confident in using technology (tablet) to complete the required customer forms
