Runfold Plastics are looking to recruit a diligent Bookkeeper to manage the company finances. Duties will include assistance with banking, bookkeeping, company returns, Payroll, spreadsheets and administrative tasks associated with the running of a manufacturing company.

**Training to be provided**:
Level 2 Finance/Accounts Assistant Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15-month apprenticeship which includes 1 day per week at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.

**About the role**:
The Bookkeeping Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:

- Recording all financial information such as sales invoices, creditor invoices, receipts, and payments
- Reconciliation & cross checking for accuracy
- Maintain and monitor the bank accounts on a daily basis
- Prepare & manage monthly/quarterly schedule of payments and collections
- Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts
- Prepare weekly/monthly/ quarterly PAYE and VAT returns
- Assist with preparation of accounts ready for annual returns & submission to accountant
- Assist with company administration as required

**Essential Skills**:
It is essential that the Bookkeeping Apprenticehas the following skills and personal qualities:

- Good numeracy and IT skills
- Familiarity with Sage accounts & payroll
- Driven to learn
- GCSEs in maths and English with at least a grade C / 4 are required

Driving license is required due to no public transport.
