**An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Independent Domestic Violence and Abuse Advisor to join the Domestic Abuse Intervention and Prevention service in Cheshire West and Chester Council**

The Domestic Abuse Intervention and Prevention Service sit within the Early Help and Prevention Service. Early Help and Prevention has a strong ethos of partnership working and innovative initiatives to improve the lives of domestic abuse victims and their families.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and relish being an integral member of a close-knit team, supporting colleagues to deliver improved outcomes for individuals and families in West Cheshire we want to hear from you. Our IDVA’s are crucial to the delivery of high-quality service to the victims of domestic abuse. You will need to be a great team player and used to responding quickly to risk and the needs of service users.

**We have a temporary post to cover maternity leave until 30/06/2024.**

A formal qualification such as IDVA/ISVA is preferable but not essential, for further information please see job description.

This role will be based in Wyvern House, Winsford; however, the team works across the whole of the Cheshire West and Chester area and adopts a flexible and mobile approach to working.
