Lincolnshire Community Heath Services are looking for experienced Registered Nursing Associates or soon to be Registered Nursing Associates to join their Lincoln Fen Community Nursing Team or Gainsborough Community Nursing Team

The Fen Team are based in the Hykeham area of Lincoln and cover the City and surrounding villages and the Gainsborough Team are based in Gainsborough covering the town and surrounding villages.

The positions are available on a full or part time basis across a 7 day period. We cover the hours of 8:00am to 6:30pm predominantly using Early and Late shifts.

We offer a 12-week induction programme for our new starters to support them in settling into their new role and provide development opportunities. A preceptorship programme is also delivered for our newly qualified staff.

As a Registered Nursing Associate within the community nursing team you will be responsible for contributing to the assessment, planning & delivery of care to patients in their own homes & care homes with a degree of autonomy. You will therefore need to possess excellent communication and organisational skills and be motivated & flexible in your approach to care delivery.

You must hold a range of clinical skills suitable for the work environment and be willing to learn & develop into the role.

- Wound care including assessment and dressing of complex wounds
- Administration of medications
- Catheterisations, catheter care & continence assessments
- Palliative care, and
- Overseeing a small caseload with the support of a case manager
