Due to an ever-increasing volume of work we are looking to expand our Door Estimating department. Reporting directly into our Head of Sales & Estimating you will be trained to be fully responsible for the on-time submission of accurate quotations of internal timber door sets including 30 and 60 minute fire rated door sets and ironmongery.

You will also follow up with customer’s, offer technical information as well as process jobs for the factory.

**Job role**
- Accurately take off details from client drawings to formulate a tender within the specified timescales
- Use specific pricing software to prepare accurate quotations
- Communicate confidently with existing and prospective customers
- Advise the customer and suggest options where required
- Liaise with the client’s representatives such as Quantity Surveyors, Architects, Commercial and Construction Managers as well as Site Representatives throughout the sales process
- Processing and handover of projects to purchasing and production teams in a timely manner
- All admin work related to quoting and estimating such as ensuring our quote system is kept up to date with the process flow of an enquiry
- **Key Skills**

Experience or a desire to learn estimating - Knowledge of Timber Joinery would be useful - Experience of customer service skills (desirable) - Ability to read detailed drawings would be useful - Knowledge of the construction/modular industry would be useful - Good I.T skills - proficient user of the Microsoft suite (essential) - Knowledge of Health and Safety would be useful - Happy to work in a fast-paced environment (essential) - Good level of written and verbal communication skills (desirable)

Pay: £22,500.00-£27,000.00 per year
