We are offering an exciting and fast paced opportunity to join the Planning Team, who, in the last year, scheduled 5,500 jobs classed as priority number 1 and 16,000 for responsive repairs - in which case, you should have forward thinking and problem solving skills.

As a Team Leader for our Mechanical & Electrical Planning team, you will be leading a team of Planners (schedulers), who are delivering an essential repairs and maintenance service within our Property Services inhouse maintenance team. You will work closely with our current M&E Planning Team Leader and D2D Planning Team Leaders to deliver excellent customer service. You will be ensuring the team are maximising the efficient use of resources to enable repairs and compliance works, such as gas servicing and EICR’s, to be completed within the required timescales.

You will be monitoring and reporting on the progress of repairs and planned works, and will work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to ensure services are delivered in line with our strategic aims, values, policies, and operational standards.

This role is being offered on a** full time, 10 month fixed term basis for maternity cover**. This position will be based in our** Exeter** office.

To be considered for the role of M&E Planning Team Leader, you will be / have:

- Have strong people management skills.
- Have knowledge or experience in a customer repair role (social housing or other). (D)
- Have experience interpreting and analysing data.
- Ideally have experience using resource scheduling software.
- Be able to work under pressure and have a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Be committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.
- Be confident speaking to a wide range of customers, internally and externally in a sensitive and professional manner.
- Be confident in making quick decisions.
- Have the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
- Be able to actively work to increase customer satisfaction and ensure achievement of agreed metrics.
- Ability to deliver results whilst managing competing priorities in order to meet deadlines and deliver team performance and business objectives.
- Experience in managing customer complaints through to resolution.
