Lineup Recruitment is looking for Teaching Assistant to work in Cheshire. Our teaching assistants are to work in a SEN School (supporting children from ages 7-19).

**Pay Rate**

£9 - 12 per hour

**Job Overview**:
1. Helping young people with their learning.

2. Supporting pupils to make progress against their EHCP targets.

3. Safeguarding and protecting our pupils

4. Raise attendance, attainment, and achievement.

5. Working alongside our pupils and help support their learning and life skills.

**Skills and Experience**:
1. Qualifications and Professional Development (Desirable)

2. Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people both orally and in writing.

3. Ability to think out of the box and adapt the learning for each pupil.

4. Well organised and self-motivated

5. Confident user of IT as a work tool

6. Good interpersonal skills including ability to work effectively with a team of people and agencies.

7. Ability to work collaboratively.

8. Ability to demonstrate appropriate knowledge of:
9. Current Disability/SEN theory and practice particularly linked to Autism.

10. Safeguarding and child protection frameworks

11. Relevant legal and scrutiny frameworks

12. Inclusive approaches to raise attendance, attainment, and achievement.

**Trainings**:

- GCSE A - C grade in English And Maths (Or Equivalent certification)
- 1 years of experience in a SEN school with SEN registered children and within the UK. **(Evidenced on CV and professional references)**
- SEN/SEND Certificate
- Adults and Children's Safeguarding certificate.
- Autism Experience
- Experience with Social, emotional and mental health (SEMH)
- Experience with managing challenging behaviour.
- Mental and physical fitness assessment
- Driver (due to rural location)

**Job Type**: Temporary contract

**Salary**: £9.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
