The Trainee Tax Advisor will work alongside experienced tax professionals to develop the early grounding skills and required procedures for success in a rewarding tax advisory career.

This role is supported by a study package to support you to achieve the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) qualification.

**Tasks**:

- Self-manage a small portfolio of clients including owners of Private companies, HNWI’s, Partnerships and Trusts, under the guide of the firm’s tax consultants and manager.
- Request and collate information.
- Prepare and submit self-assessments for clients.
- Advise payment amounts and deadlines.
- Correspond with HMRC concerning routine tax matters (i.e. tax codes, checking repayments/tax calculations), complex tax cases and dealing with HMRC enquiries.
- Assist in the administration of client invoicing.
- Undertake to study for the first level of exams with full support provided after your first year of work.
- Develop understanding of Money Laundering Regulations, General Data Protection and workplace Equality, inclusion and diversity.

**System Experience**:

- Ability to use Microsoft Office Package comfortably.
- Good IT capabilities.

**Professional Experience**:

- No prior accountancy or tax experience is required for this non graduate entry level role, although evidence of some work experience would be an advantage.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, team player.
- A level grades B or above.
- GCSE grade 5 or above in Maths and English.
