We have 2 vacancies for a Business Support Assistant, both supporting the work of Education operational staff.
- 1 x Full time, permanent
- 1 x Full time, fixed term for 12 months

The primary role is to provide essential support in the delivery of those services, supporting operational colleagues and ensuring timely communications with service users and partner agencies.

The successful applicant will undertake a range of administration and business support tasks in order to ensure a high quality, consistent admin support service. You will have responsibility for a range of tasks including records management, meeting, conference and event administration and input of information to relevant Case Management Systems.

Applicants should have 4 GCSEs (A-C), or equivalent, including English and Maths, excellent keyboard skills and significant experience of general office procedures.

The Education Service provides support to young people of all ages within all Educational institutions throughout Cornwall. The Business Support team provides support to Operational Colleagues within Education Welfare, Elective Home Education, Statutory SEN, SEN Support, Early Years Learning and Development and the Virtual School for Children in Care.
