- Motorcycle Mechanic Technician_
M&M Motorcycles are looking to employ a new technician in our busy team. This will ensure we meet our reputation of as the most reliable, honest and trust worthy bike shop in the area.

We have a vacancy for mechanics /vehicle technicians with a minimum of 4 years’ workshop experience, and own tools.

MOT testers qualification would be an advantage but not essential.

**Knowledge Abilities and Skills**
- Considerable knowledge of the standard methods, materials, tools and equipment of the motorcycle trade.
- Considerable knowledge of the operating principles of motorcycle engines.
- Considerable knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
- Ability to plan, and implement work on own initiative as well a part of a team

**Main Objectives**
- To carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to a high standard.
- Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately using computer based diagnostic equipment.
- Resolving defects, repairing or replacing broken or defective parts.
- To maintain job sheets, keep records of labour, materials, parts, supplies and other records necessary in the repair and maintenance process
- To carry out MOT tests to the level of qualification
- To perform related work as required.
- To keep customers well informed, dealing with customers queries and advising customers of progress and additional work required in the absence of the garage manager
- To inspect and monitor work areas, ensuring a safe and clean work space
- To maintain equipment making sure tools are in good condition

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £29,160.00 per year
