Payments Support Assistant
35hrs per week - Kirkintilloch

**Pay rate**: £11.44 - £12.62

**Tasks**:
Assist in the provision of an Accounts Payable service, within the Procurement Support Team, by ensuring that invoices and requests for payment are processed in line with relevant procedures, regulations and legislation;
Assist in the provision of a customer focused service, ensuring that customer queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively;
Support the performance of the Procurement Support team through a culture of team work and flexibility, contributing to the overall success of the Council;
Work to continuously improve service delivery and performance of the Procurement Support team

**Knowledge**:
Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes
Knowledge of the Construction Industry Scheme
Knowledge of purchasing processes
Organisational awareness and knowledge of internal & external drivers
