Northampton, United Kingdom Northamptonshire Children's Trust Full time

About the role
Are you looking for a new challenge in children’s safeguarding? Do you enjoy working in a fast paced and busy environment? Do you see yourself as a bit of a detective with the ability to collect and analyse complex information drawn from multiple sources? Are you a team player who can work alongside a variety of different professionals to ensure children and young people are protected?

If you answered yes, then we have a unique opportunity for you

Working in the Northamptonshire MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) you will be a MASH officer, working on the frontline with partner agencies to keep children and young people safe.

About you
This is an exciting role for someone with children’s safeguarding experience to be the first point of contact to the public and professionals where there is a child safeguarding concern.

You will work alongside a team of professionals from other agencies including the police and health, making this an interesting and varied role where there are multiple opportunities to learn and develop.

The MASH is a fast-paced team so you will need to be tenacious in collating information from different sources in a robust and timely manner, seeking advice and support from the MASH decision makers and team managers as required.

You will be an excellent communicator ensuring that all agencies and professional organisations are given feedback on the progress of cases as well as the ability to discover and collate information from multiple sources.

This is a lively and nurturing environment where your career can thrive.
