Kitchen Porter

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team in a bustling restaurant setting. The role involves supporting the kitchen staff in various food preparation tasks and maintaining cleanliness within the kitchen area. Responsibilities: - Assist the chefs and kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks. - Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times. - Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. - Dispose of waste following proper recycling and waste disposal procedures. - Keep kitchen floors and work surfaces clean and sanitised. - Help in receiving and storing deliveries. Qualifications: - Previous experience working in a kitchen or hospitality environment is advantageous. - Ability to work well in a fast-paced kitchen setting. - Basic cooking skills are desirable. - Understanding of food hygiene practices. - Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff. - Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 38 per week
