Materials Planner

Job Title: Materials Planner

**Job Type**: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-4

**Salary**: £32,000

Location: London Heathrow, UK

We have a brand new opportunity for a Materials Planner to join a world leading airline at London Heathrow Airport.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with people in different operational roles to forecast and plan for materials, parts and components to arrive on time and in the right locations.
- Materials include Foams/Carpet Kits/Seat Covers/Seat Spare Pre-Load Kits/CMP UCS Kits
- Monitor daily and weekly status sheets, incoming shipments, job cards in production, Purchase Order updates etc. and adjust accordingly.
- Adjust Min/Max levels in the Quantum system as required to match demand with supply lead times.
- Monitor inventory levels at remote bases, arrange shipping of parts/ re-allocation as required
- In conjunction with other team members, arrange kitting of parts to ensure a full kit change is available for on time delivery
- Weekly monitoring of BER Soft Furnishing Materials, providing scrap reports to Management.
- Working with the Senior Store's person ensuring stock is accurate and stock checked regularly in key areas.
- Working with Stores on stock movements/transactions

Experience required:

- Many years relevant experience within an Aircraft Material Planning Environment
- Familiarity with resource and material planning
