Lunchtime Assistant

Responsible to: Nursery Directors / Manager/Senior Staff Team

**Salary**: NLW
- To work alongside all members of staff to ensure that the National Childcare Standards are met.
- To assist key staff with the delivery of the nursery curriculum.
- To support children’s individual needs throughout meal times.
- To promote hygienic working practices
- To work alongside other staff to ensure children’s individual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs are met appropriately and effectively.
- To assist with activities appropriate for the age and development of individual children.
- To ensure all children have access to a wide variety of activities and experiences.
- To promote good working practices.
- To assist all staff with the day to day cleaning of the nursery.
- To provide a high level of supervision.
- To ensure that good levels of hygiene are maintained.
- To keep appropriate records.
- To work with families and carers.
- To as necessary provide cover for other staff members.
- To undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by the Nursery Directors/ Nursery Manager

Part-time hours: 11.25 per week

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bilston, WV14 9LP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
