Equine Groom Apprenticeship

We are a busy BHS and Pony Club Approved riding centre and Livery yard. We are a family run business with a small team of friendly and hard working staff.

Duties to include but not limited to:

- Turning in and out of horses
- Morning muck outs
- Grooming
- Field chores
- Yard chores
- Tack cleaning
- Clipping
- Exercising horses

**Desired qualifications**
- GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent in Maths and English desired but not essential.
- Applicants must not already hold a level 2 or higher in Horse Care.

**Future prospects**
- On completion you will have all the skills required for a full time position in the equine industry.
- Yard Manager / Equine Groom

**Training**
- Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
- The applicant will be working towards and gain a Level 2 Equine Groom Apprenticeship
- The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £172.00 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Rochester, ME3 7UD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
