Senior Community Support Worker Rate: £10.45 per hour

**About the Community Support Worker role**:
We want Support Workers & Senior Support Workers who are enthusiastic and looking to make a difference for the people we support, to deliver person
- centred support to people with Mental Health or learning disabilities promoting their independence and helping to achieve goals and aspirations so that our people live the life they choose. We need Support workers who are reliable, trustworthy respectful and understand the importance of a support worker role.

The role involved working within a collaborative

**Due to this role being within our community based care team travel in Lincoln and surrounding areas will be required so must have use of own vehicle.**

**A typical day as a Support Worker involves**:

- Support with shopping, correspondence, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Prompting daily personal care, whilst maintaining privacy, dignity, and respect.
- Support with planning and attending leisure or educational activities. This can range from day centres, College, gardening clubs, bingo, discos, meals out, bowling, holidays, and day trips such as zoos or sporting events.
- Administering medication and arranging medical appointments as required.
- Encouraging and supporting individuals to maintain friendships and family links.
- Using our note-taking system to provide handover staff with important information.

**Salary**: £10.00-£10.45 per hour
