- Providing practical and professional SHE advice/assistance to colleagues and managers
- Carry out accident investigations and champion necessary changes required to prevent re occurrence
- Identify and review SHE processes and policies and make recommendations for improvement to the SHE Manager
- Work closely with managers to improve proactive behaviours
- Coordinate, maintain and support the SHE Management Information System
- Ensure that all SHE policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated
- To investigate and respond proactively to SHE concerns and incidents ensuring that recommendations are made and followed up
- Facilitating and when required lead in-house SHE training

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver training on standard operating procedures, such as fire evacuation and accident investigation
- Conduct risk assessments on new processes, machinery and COSHH
- Develop safe systems of work by liaising with departments on high risk activities
- Perform Occupational health reviews and personal risk assessments for staff requiring amended duties, returning to work and pregnancy
- Actively involved in accident investigations and maintain the company’s accident reporting system
- Monitoring performance in the form of regular audits and inspections, resulting in corrective actions that must be implemented effectively and reviewed
- Monthly safety committee meetings

**Education**

Level 4 in OH&S mandatory

Level 4 in Environmental desirable

F&D Manufacturing experience desirable

Pay: £28,000.00-£31,500.00 per year
