You will be working in a busy, kitchen environment preparing morning breakfasts and guest packed lunches.

The Ancient unicorn is a newly refurbished business, serving an exclusive menu with the emphasis being on homemade, quality, local produce, as well as providing excellent food and drink to 17 bespoke rooms.

We provide a very consistent product to a high standard each day. All our dishes are skilfully prepared using the freshest seasonal ingredients available.

You will have previous experience of working in this environment.

**The Person**
- Confident, creative and passionate about good food served well.
- Knowledge of classic cooking techniques
- The ability to work well within a team, be hard working and have a positive work ethic
- Supporting events and functions throughout the year.
- The ability to consistently meet customer expectations
- A sound understanding of good food hygiene practices
- Keep your kitchen clean
- Prepare everything that is needed before a busy shift
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
- Cook to spec and know the menu inside out
- Have a great eye for detail
- Be super organised
- Be a team player

Must be able to drive as this is not an easy location to commute to using public transport.
- An excellent command of the English language and a confident communicator

Wages and hours to be discussed at an interview

Mon - Fri - 7am til 11am

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
