Here is the opportunity to join an enthusiastic and lively team supporting the ASPH staff with training and RA security support. We are looking for someone full of energy and with a passion to improve and delivery the best service possible with fresh innovative ideas.
**The post holder will**:
Assist the Trust RA Managers in co-ordinating the planning and delivery of the RA service and its on-going operation and maintenance across the organisation.
Act in the capacity of RA Agent and provide support services for NHS Smartcards, including the issuing and revocation of Smartcards, as part of the Trust Registration Authority team.
Support the Digital Training & RA Manager and IT Trainers in the booking and administration of all IT Training activities for the IT Training Portfolio.
**Registration Authority (RA)**:
To act as an RA Agent to produce Smartcards and ensure that this is provided to the correct individual, following identity checking protocols and provision of guidance on initial log in, self-registration and usage.
To update access to ensure that end users have the correct access to the Surrey Safe Care system and any agreed access to other systems.
Provide Smartcard assistance in issue, repair and maintenance using the Care Identity Service system
To trouble shoot access issues and escalate where appropriate to the RA Manager(s)
**IT Training**:
Promote the IT Training portfolio and encourage uptake of course places and use of the training facilities
To provide an efficient and professional first point of contact for Surrey Safe Care course bookings and enquiries and where appropriate referring on to the IT Trainers and IT Training Lead as required.
Ensure delegates are booked on the correct courses relevant and applicable to their job role
Maintain the Learning Management System, daily inputting and recording of compliance data, whilst maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of information.
Assist the IT Trainers to ensure that training rooms are prepared and ready for training sessions.

**Registration Authority**:
To ensure that appropriate staff are registered for and issued with Smartcards both physical and/or virtual, following correct national and local procedures.
To carry out all necessary administration in connection with the issuance and revocation of Smartcards and associated tasks, ensuring that RA policy and procedures are adhered to.
To be responsible for the secure storage of documentation, equipment and consumables that are required for the operation of the RA function.
To support the implementation of RA related projects across the Trust.
Troubleshoot both hardware and software issues in relation to RA services.
To maintain a secure and indexed audit trail of applicants’ registration information and profile changes using appropriate Smartcard Management Systems e.g., Care Identity Service, Electronic Staff Record.
Working in conjunction with Recruitment and Workforce teams to ensure that Smartcards are produced promptly for new joiners, and to resolve issues between the Electronic Staff Record and Care Identity Service.
To maintain a register of Smartcards issued and produce reports and analysis on distribution and usage as required.
Maintain the Third-Party register, recording all instances of access given to non-Trust employed staff, seeking appropriate Sponsorship and periodic reviews of access requirements.
Perform periodic audits on Temporary Access Card (TAC) stocks and usage, taking proactive action to revoke Smartcards that have not been returned.
