Bristol, United Kingdom ASDAN Full time

**We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director - Professional Learning and Innovation to join us in renewing ASDAN’s educational offer.**

Staying true to ASDAN’s origins but with a focus on the future, we are committed to working in collaboration with teachers and educators through professional learning communities to renew and develop relevant, good quality and viable courses that engage, elevate and empower young people in greatest need. This is a hybrid working role, with the opportunity to work partly from home and partly from our main office in St George, Bristol.

**About us**: ASDAN is an awarding and curriculum development organisation, providing courses and education materials. We specialise in designing and accrediting courses that develop personal, social and employability skills for young people aged 11 - 25 as they take their next steps in learning, work and life. Applicants should be aware however, that the role is to be funded from the reserves of the charity for 24 months following which there is an expectation that external funding will have been attracted to support further R&D, alongside a portion of operational surplus being reinvested in the role.

**About the role**: This is an exciting vacancy for a motivated professional with demonstrable experience of leading professional learning and innovation with teachers and educators, designing practice-based research and development to build practical personal, social and employability skills courses, and experience of working with and in settings where young people in greatest need are supported to realise their potential.

To arrange an informal chat about the role with our Chief Executive, Jenny Williams, please contact Emma Wakeman, Executive Support and Projects Co-ordinator, on 0117 954 3950.
