**Machinist Fitter - Manufacturing - Southampton - £13 - 15.50ph DOE**

**The Machinist Fitter will be responsible for**:

- Operation of large manual machine tools (milling machines, lathes, borers)
- Machining of items during the repair process or manufactur of new items
- Reading engineering drawings
- Usage of measuring equipment

**Required experience**:

- Apprentice trained/time served machining qualification
- Experience of machining small to heavy industrial components from a wide range of industries
- Experience of working within a heavy engineering/machining background
- Experience of using large, manual machine tools
- A strong approach to Health & Safety

**Package**:

- £13-15.50ph DOE
