Poultry Farm Worker

**Pro Solutions UK **is currently recruiting for a Poultry Farm Assistant to work between our clients' 2 farms in Glastonbury and Sherborne, a work van will be provided for work purposes only.

We are currently looking for 1 full-time **Permanent** applicant.

**Responsibilities**:

- Caring for the chickens to the highest standard which would include daily welfare checks and support with feeding.
- Packing, grading, and storing of hatching eggs, using our automated systems to support.
- Walk the chicken line
- Check the feeders, and ensure the chickens have plenty of water
- Record water use
- Weigh the chickens twice daily
- Record Mortality

While the experience of working with Poultry is desirable, we would consider those with the right qualities and a willingness to learn.
- Have excellent time keeping and attendance
- Have a positive attitude towards work
- Have a commitment to maintaining the welfare of the birds.
- Have good attention to detail
- Work well as part of a team and independently
- Be computer literate and have some knowledge of Microsoft programs I outlook
- Have transport and can commute reliably to work

Hours and days of work:
Monday - Friday (alternate weekends)

08:00 - 16:00

Wages are competitive and will be discussed depending on your level of experience.
