Safe Start School Tameside, is an Independent SEN provision for students 11-16 years with additional needs. The well-being and achievement of every child are of utmost importance to us and it is only through a supportive partnership between students, families, school and other professionals that we can achieve this.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Outreach Worker to educate our children and help them achieve their qualifications off site.

Experience required within a School (preferably SEMH) and GCSE Maths & English are desirable along with a teacher/tutor qualification.

Our children all have EHCP's and additional SEN and Behavioural needs which can result in physical intervention at times, all our staff are Team Teach trained and supported through training programmes to deal with challenging behaviours/situations.

As a school we offer a Nurturing/Thrive approach to our children at all times.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
