I am currently assisting a well known retail brand in their search for a Credit Risk Administrator to be based in Central London offices, close to Kings Cross stations.

**Client Details**

My client is a well known international footwear company based in Central London. Due to recent changes in the team they are now looking to hire a Credit Risk Administrator to join the Credit Team

This is a permanent role with hybrid working 2-3 days in the office / working from home.

Their offices are based in London, close to Kings Cross Tube Station.

The purpose of the role is to manage the New Accounts opening process and ensure daily maintenance on all accounts based on changes or requests from the business. In addition, there are a number of tasks to be carried out to help ensure current processes,credit limits and risk codes are aligned with the mitigation of company risk. Full KPI reporting and feedback given to the Credit Finance Analyst and relevant departments keeping all updated on progress of account set up and any credit exposure across thebusiness.

This is an entry level role for someone with an interest in Credit or 12 months Credit Control experience.

**Description**

**Credit Risk Administrator, London**
- Full responsibility for the opening of all new accounts, ensuring Customers and Sales Teams follow company procedures and applicable authorisation sought to make sure accounts are accurately set up
- Obtain relevant Credit Reports on targeted customers to validate Credit Insurance coverage and justify potential limit increase or reductions of Credit Limits outlining to the business and Credit Controllers top level reasoning for the changes
- Evaluate credit policies and procedures to maximize credit insurance and credit software usage
- Monitor Risk Code set up on all accounts (for order release and risk rating categories) amending in response to adverse payment changes. Produce reports outlining overall Wolverine risks in line with risk categories.
- Maintain customer master data on SAP - including account creation, changes, discounts and ongoing management to ensure systems are working to full capability without errors and issues to the business
- Comprehensive review of terms and conditions highlighting customers which have not signed and chasing up new ones based on highest revenue
- Ensure compliance with the company credit policy, business processes and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
- Assist Credit Finance Analyst in pulling together key metrics in relation to monthly KPI reporting. Highlight trends, industry/geographical information to give the business a clear picture of potential Wolverine risks
- Point of contact for the bushiness in relation to any Credit Limit changes being pro active and giving clear explanations for any amendments to account set up in relation to limits and risk.
- Continually review the credit control mailbox and progress any required actions with the respective teams.
- Take ownership and respond professionally, quickly and efficiently to routine queries and requests from staff and external clients
- To provide cover for other department members as the need arises.
- To perform other duties as required / assigned by manager
