SSC2 is an 8-week research module where students undertake supervised independent research or quality improvement activity supported by taught sessions, workshops and journal clubs.

Preparation for the module starts with recruitment and training of supervisors 9 months prior to the start of the module and delivery of relevant teaching on research methodologies and ethics starts in year 2 of the curriculum.
