PMP Utilities is a member of the Water Division of M Group Services, the leading essential infrastructure services provider operating within water, energy, transport and telecommunication across the UK & Ireland.
We work on hydraulics, rotating equipment, Victorian and modern plant and machinery, large diameter valves and pipework fittings, treatment plants, raw, potable and waste and predominantly within the Water Industry. We need to fault find and provide, sometimes, bespoke solutions to solve problems.
Our operational team is made up of operatives, supervisors, field team leaders and project managers. All of whom are tasked with delivering the projects for our clients. Your current qualifications and experience will define your starting position within the team. You will have the opportunity to develop within the team with the long-term view of progressing into other opportunities within the business.
To help us to continue to grow, we are always on the look out for keen, mechanical minded people to fit into our team. You must be committed to working safely within a diverse range of site based locations. This will include all of our core areas, engineering, pipeline leakage, confined space rescue and fabrication works.
We use rope access as a key method of accessing our work places. We are always keen to talk to Rope IRATA L1 and L3 / ISO supervisors, ideally with experience of utilities work.
Your responsibilities include general site duties and site maintenance. You will be delivering our engineering and other works scopes. You will need to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of all tasks. Support others both on site and in our unit.
You will be required to comply with all company policies. Work as an effective team member to support and achieve company goals. Be an ambassador of the business and embrace PMP’s vision and values.
In return you will have the oppotunity to complete a range of technical courses and chances to practice new skills gained with other team members.
Supervisors and field team leaders take responsibility for the onsite teams. The Team Leader position being the most senior site biased, operational role within PMP. They would be expected to have mechanical engineering knowledge and training alongside good supervisory skills.
Have you gained experience in mechanical engineering?
Do you have rope access / confined space rescue?
Do you have knowledge of AMEX seal installation / pipework repairs (internal, external)?
Fabrication/manufacture
Design
Are you experienced in site management?
Have you gained experience in the water, oil, gas, chemical engineering sector?

**Additional Information**
- You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools.
- You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.
- You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.
