**The Role**

An Administration Apprentice will provide comprehensive support with all aspects of day to day clerical and administrative tasks and maintenance of systems and procedures to enable the company to operate effectively and efficiently.

**Specifically, you will**:

- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Answer incoming calls and distributing to correct personnel
- Have management of meeting room bookings
- Provide reception services to meet and welcome visitors
- Perform administration and distribution of Workwear/PPE orders
- Handle the organisation of hotel and travel bookings
- Research, retrieve and store information/documentation as required
- Produce and design documents
- Support the organisation and co-ordination of company meetings and events
- Keep the print room, post room and stationary area tidy and maintaining stock/materials levels
- Develop suppliers list and maintenance of suppliers price lists
- Order print room, post room and stationary stock/materials - Contacting suppliers for quotes.
- Raise and issue Purchase Orders to suppliers
- Check orders of stock/materials when received - Matching delivery notes to purchase orders
- Scan, record and file documents
- Manage the Returned Goods Process ensuring that incorrect or faulty goods are returned for replacement, repair or credit as applicable.
- Arrange the return and credit of over-ordered and unwanted materials and goods.

**About You**

To join us as an Administration Apprentice, you will need:

- 5x GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade 4 or above.
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to process and interpret information
- The ability to work flexibly
- Be a team player but also able to use own initiative
- Have excellent customer service skills
- The ability to input, process and interpret data
- The ability to work to targets and deadlines
- The ability to make decisions and use own initiative
- Be prepared to learn new skills
- The ability to use Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and Outlook
