**Actual Salary range: 2 6,873.26 - 29,178.12**
**FTE salary rang; £30,628.4 7 - £33,255.41 per annum**
Based at Ruskin Mill College, Nailsworth
The purpose of the role is to oversee the medical needs of the students and work with the other teams to coordinate and facilitate the delivery of appropriate medical and therapy provision, you will be expected to:
- To oversee the medical needs of all college students, working closely with and advising the Education Health and Care Managers and Residential Management teams to support them to support the students with regards to physical health, mental health, resilience and overall wellbeing.
- To ensure that there is appropriate medical cover across the sites this role covers
- To encourage and promote an integrative approach to health care.
- To be aware of and support the healthy rhythms of the students, such as their sleep, digestion and nutrition and offer staff support and advice to maintain and improve these where necessary.
- To ensure that all staff, both college and residential, have the appropriate trainings and experience to handle emergency situations which require medical intervention by delivering regular training to staff.
To undertake this position successfully you will have:
- A member of a Medical Professional governing body
Ruskin Mill College is set in 140 acres with a farm, fish farm, two converted mill buildings, woodlands, smoker nad workshops. Basedin Nailsworth the College provides for young people aged 16 to 25 years old.
The successful applicant will take part in an interactive induction to experience the crafts within the curriculum and experience the student journey. You would also be provided with financial support toward the cost of clinical supervisions.
