Head Housekeeper

Ardenlee Care Home is looking to recruit a Head Housekeeper to join our luxury, purpose-built care home.

Our care home sits in its own grounds with scenic views over the sea, woodland, and gardens, specialising in residential care for 32 residents.

As Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing and organising the workload of cleaning services within the care home. You will make sure that all works are carried out in a professional and efficient manner.

**Head Housekeeper Contract**
- £10.42 per hour
- Contracted to 36 hours per week
- Pension
- 5.6 weeks annual leave

**Responsibilities**
- Internal audits
- Stock ordering / Stock control
- Staff supervisions
- Training of new staff
- Staff rotas
- Empty waste bins
- Vacuum throughout
- Shake out cushions
- Clean dining rooms/lounges/toilets
- Clean taps and sinks
- Clean soap dispenser outlets
- Clean toothbrush holders
- Spot clean all floorings
- Wash all bathroom/toilet/en-suite floors
- Polish all mirrors
- Clean all pipe work in toilets
- Dust handrails and radiators
- Move all mobile furniture (including beds and chairs) and vacuum and dust beneath/behind
- Wash out metal wastepaper bins
- Dust and polish furniture and windowsills
- Wash lino floors
- Shampoo carpets as requested by Home Manager
- Dust light bulbs, curtains, pictures, and fittings
- Restock toiletries, soaps, towels when required
