Smart People in Grimsby are now recruiting for both Discharge and Compound car drivers.

We are looking for confident drivers to assist with the import and export of various manufacturers new cars. Vehicles will be driven on and off the Ro Ro Ferries at our clients North Killingholme site.

Shifts start from either 7am, 8am or 9am. We have both full time and part time positions available. Shift lengths on Discharge vary between 5 and 8 hours per day. There is also the opportunity to work for up to 12 hours per day on the Compounds.

For insurance purposes, you must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience, no more than 6 points on your license, and no DD or DR convictions in the last 10 years.

Own transport is essential due to the location of the site.

Previous experience driving left hand and automatic vehicles would be an advantage.

Rates of pay are £10.42 p/h.
