**What you will be doing**
This is an exciting opportunity to join Thames Water as one of our LGV Driver Apprentices. Our Drivers are ambassadors for Thames Water out on the road so you will be responsible to ensure that our values are upheld and provide a first-class service to ourcustomers.
You will be working alongside an experienced driver technician for the duration of your programme and will receive ongoing support from your mentor, line manager and training provider to complete your class 2 qualification and develop your experience to excelwithin your career at Thames Water.
We’re in the beginning of journey towards becoming carbon neutral by 2030 and increasing our fleet of 5 electric vehicles so we’re looking for someone who is passionate in joining us on this journey.
As one of our LGV apprentices you will work as part of the Logistic Management Centre (LMC) which operates a new fleet of state-of-the art Tankers with jetting capability, Potable Water Tankers, and Inventory delivery vehicles to support both reactive and plannedwork.

- Be **18 years of age** or older and you must hold a **full UK Driving licence**.
We’re not looking for any specific experience or qualifications as this will be developed whilst in the role, we’re looking for someone who wants to get stuck in with a passion to learn.

We’re offering a salary of £20,000, 24 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and a 36-hour working week.
