Teefee Ltd is looking for Baristas to join our team

Teefee Ltd is a specialty coffee shop and restaurant located in Peterborough. We are a small business that is committed to providing the highest quality of coffee and food in a comfortable, welcoming environment. We have an amazing team of people who are passionate about what we do and love providing guests with an exceptional experience.

**Position Summary**:
We are looking for a Barista to prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, including making them on the spot, serving them to guests who have just ordered from the espresso bar, cleaning up after them. Barista duties include preparing the coffee machine, planning and organizing the bar, and greeting customers as they enter.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to meet daily customer demand with quick service and attention to detail. You should be able to keep the bar organized with us using a variety of bar stools, utensils, and cleaning equipment. The goal is to ensure excellent service with every customer while maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at all times.

**Duties**:

- Prepare fresh hot or cold beverages on the spot for our guests (e.g. lattes, hot chocolate, tea)
- Make sure customers have an excellent experience by greeting them with a smile, explaining their order as they go, taking their orders quickly, and returning phone calls promptly
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations, including proper use of utensils and utepatiing equipment (e.g. grinder)
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area while using sanitizer tablets or hand-washing equipment if necessary (e.g. mugs)
- Cleaning up after customers when they leave via the front door or exit via the back door
- Track inventory or stock properly (e.g. stock milk)
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week
