If so, we have an opportunity for a **Digital Country Assistant - Germany** to join us here at Basecamp

The Digital Country Assistant - Germany is responsible for supporting the delivery of trade and marketing activity across all digital channels to accelerate growth within the German market. This will include briefing and checking on-site content, assisting with ECRM activity, assisting with Affiliate activity, setting up promotions and reporting on performance. They will be supported by the Senior Digital Executive for Germany, as well as the Digital marketing teams to implement effective campaigns, ensuring that we achieve all KPI’s.

This position works closely with the Senior Digital Country Executive for Germany, as well as the Group Digital teams and local Country teams, to help prepare and roll out online activity on our German websites including Regatta, Dare2b, Outdoor Sports Outlet (OSO), and on an ad-hoc basis Craghoppers.

This role is responsible for helping with daily checks of on-site content, briefing and proofing on-site content and ECRM activity, helping with the roll out of SEO content, as well as working with the full digital acquisition team on communicating campaign launches on our German websites. The Digital Country Assistant - Germany will also assist in reporting on the performance of campaigns, content and ECRM activity on our Regatta, Dare2b and OSO websites. They will also support the Craghoppers Germany team with content roll outs where needed.

This position works cross-functionally to provide the link between our German websites and the wider Group Digital team, acting as a proactive ambassador for our German market, to ensure all trading activity, campaigns and content, deliver commercial growth to meet growth plans and KPI’s.

**The Impact you will have in this role is**:

- Detailed and well-coordinated daily digital planners, detailing marketing activity across all digital channels, balancing trading, regional and Brand priorities appropriately.
- Highly engaged on-site digital content (e.g. on-site updates, brand campaigns, tactical promotions), delivered through detailed briefs and QA of trading, content and marketing activity.
- Work closely with the Central team, Brand teams, Digital Designers and Front-end Developers, to QA and execute plans, whilst ensuring Brand principles and best practice is followed on all websites.
- Compliance and adherence to consumer and data protection policies, managing consumer data and mitigating risk, aligned to the Group’s GDPR strategy and procedures.
- Daily digital plans delivered on-time and in detail, approved by the Senior Digital Country Executives, Digital Regional Manager and Regional teams, covering activity across all digital channels and communication platforms, tailored for the relevant market.
- On-time and to-plan digital content, including the rollout of brand content and tactical promotions to meet performance KPI’s and to ensure content is fit-for-purpose at all times.
- Optimised on-site customer journey, measured through data-driven content and product, to meet engagement and conversion targets to maximise performance.
- Digital trading targets met, including agreed traffic and conversion KPI’s and measures, delivering strong commercial growth to build the local markets.

**As our future Digital Country Assistant - Germany you will have**:

- Extremely strong verbal and written translation skills; fully fluent in both spoken and written German. Able to translate English to German and vice-versa without relying on Google translate.
- Ideally has experience working in Digital Trading, Content or Marketing.
- Ideally has experience working across the full digital marketing mix, preferably for multiple brands, to deliver an omnichannel strategy.
- Confident, with great communication skills. Able to communicate effectively both 1-2-1 and in larger groups.
- Able to identify performance based on set KPI’s

**Preferable experience across**:

- Digital analytics solutions e.g. Google Analytics (360), Google Data Studio.
- Content management systems e.g. Contentful.
- CRM systems e.g. Dotdigital, Exponea, Emarsys.
- Social media platforms e.g. Facebook Business Manager, Falcon.
- On-site user experience & CRO systems e.g. Contentsquare, Google Optimize.
- Understanding of the importance of complying to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), tailoring approaches for the German market.
- Relevant local market eCommerce regulations e.g. promotions, imports, returns.
