**Your new company**
Hays Education are working with an all-girls academy in Merseyside who are seeking an outstanding classroom practitioner to teach science part time temporarily across KS3 and KS4. This high school has already developed an excellent reputation within their communityand rated "Outstanding" overall from their latest Ofsted inspection with above average attendance and "very high-quality care, guidance and support". We work closely with this school to provide day to day staffing needs, long term supply and permanent placements.Hays have become well-respected and a market leader in many areas through a constant focus on providing outstanding customer service to both teachers and schools.
**Your new role**
You will be supporting the Science department teaching Physics, Biology and Chemistry across KS3 and KS4 temporarily part time around seventeen pupils per lesson, starting in April 2023.
In order to be a part time science teacher, you will need to have qualified teacher status or be looking to complete your induction year. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up to date with recentcurriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst always demonstrating a professional manor. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt tounfamiliar plans and timetables. It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when speaking to other members of staff and people in the school.
