**Hotel Maintenance Person**

We are looking for a Maintenance Person to join our team at the Alona Hotel. The maintenance department is responsible for the upkeep of all the hotel premises and its grounds. General repairs and maintenance is a common duty, as are safety checks and communication with management in regards to general upkeep and items or areas that may require specialist repairs or significant investments. They will also be expected to keep a close eye on facilities and equipment, making repairs, adjustments and replacing parts when needed. Part of this role will be to contribute to keeping the décor of the hotel in good shape at all times.

**General Responsibilities**:
To review the log book at the start of each shift to plan the work needed that day

Maintenance & DIY skills are required to maintain the upkeep of the hotel and grounds

Keep management informed of any maintenance issues that arise that require material expense

Ensure all checks are carried out daily

Ensure all Health & Safety is adhered to and recorded as needed

Report any H&S defects promptly to the Duty Manager

Meet or exceed any specific completion targets set by the Manager

General upkeep and repairs of hotel in accordance with expected standards
