The Institute of Export& International Trade (IOE&IT) are looking for a **Membership Liaison Team Leader** to join the Client Services team in Lynch Wood, Peterborough. Office based position.

The Institute is the leading association of exporters and importers, providing consultancy services as well as education and training for our 8,000 members. Post Brexit and with all the new trade agreements that are coming into place, there has been a rapidincrease in the demand for our services as companies keep up with the ever-changing trade landscape.

**Description -**

Our Client Services team are engaging regularly with the Import/Export community, making sure they get the most from their membership of IOE&IT. This also includes events for networking and sharing best practice, lunchtime learning sessions, as well as achance to feed back information from a business perspective which is collated and fed into policy forums for those involved negotiating trade agreements, so they can see what is working and some of the problems on the ground.

You will be in charge of the 6 Team Members and working with the Manager to achieve KPI’s and grow our membership, but you will need similar experience working in a Membership body and a proven track record to demonstrate capability.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To support the Membership Development Manager to meet objectives set for the Institute’s membership based on growth, retention and service delivery strategies
- Dealing with the day-to-day management and motivation of the Client Services Team, including coaching, 1:1’s, training and performance reviews to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills in line with the policy developed with the Membership DevelopmentManager
- Interviewing, onboarding and training for new team members
- Collating any issues within your team and troubleshoot when issues arise
- To support the design and embedding of new standard operating procedures for the Client Services function
- To maintain ongoing competency through development of personal training plans in conjunction with the Membership Development Manager
- To ensure client information is recorded accurately and fully within the CRM (Dynamics based functionality)
- To support the investigation and resolution of complaints
- Work with other departments across the organisation to maximise engagement with client services strategy
- Work with teams across client services to implement strategies to keep members updated on the latest products in order to increase sales and retention
- To engage with members and prospect data to generate detailed reports to inform membership provision and content strategies
- To act as an ambassador for the function and the organisation in terms of diligent and ethical conduct and performance
- To communicate in an articulate, professional, and informed manner across all levels of the business, both internally and externally
- To maintain the integrity of the business through the accurate and timely recording of all relevant data
- Undertake any other reasonable duties commensurate with a changing environment and a proactive business function
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned within your scope of practice.
- Support wider organisation needs as required
- Attend exhibitions and events as required

**ABOUT YOU**:
The role will suit team players who can work cross-departmentally to fulfil wider organisation ambitions. You have a drive to coach and mentor your team from a data led perspective to find solutions in line with business strategies.

You will need proven experience of team leadership including conducting 1-2-1’s, setting and supporting T&O’s, Coaching and mentoring, PIP management, as well as experience using a CRM system and supporting a membership organisation. Great attention to detail,strong interpersonal and administrator skills, and good initiative to problem solve will all be part of your skill set.
